JASON KENDIG ⛓️

Originally inspired by the music electrifying Detroit’s airwaves and animating the dance floors of it's underground warehouse parties, Jason Kendig has been collecting and mixing a broad range of dance music for nearly three decades. From his first residency at Detroit’s infamous club Motor in the late 90's he went on to become an integral member of San Francisco's Honey Soundsystem and was asked to be a resident at Smart Bar in Chicago as well as the Buddy Buddy parties in Buffalo, New York. Kendig's touring schedule has brought him to dance floors around the globe where he never fails to make others move through his ability to reference dance music's past while keeping an ear dialed into the sounds of the future.

SKIN

⛓️

SKIN ⛓️

Best known as the lead singer of Skunk Anansie, Skin is one of Britain’s leading and acclaimed rock singers & songwriters. Born and brought up in Brixton, South London, she rejected the safe haven of soul/R&B session singing by literally diving headlong into hardcore rock. Since she emerged in the mid ‘90s with Skunk Anansie, Skin has been a groundbreaking presence.

Flash forward years later & Skin has found her passion with sexy techno grooves that ooze warmth and fat bottom bass.  “There is no fast road to being a good Dj, it literally takes years of non-stop work, it takes years of failure to understand how to get it right, it’s the same with production, luckily I already had a few skills in that area, mainly good ears but still you never really know until you test them on the dancefloor...when you feel that room shake THAT’S when you know you got it right!”. Skin has recently relocated to Brooklyn & is looking forward to bringing her upbeat yet dark techno vibes to sweaty dancefloors on this side of the pond!

WILL AUTOMAGIC ⛓️

Will Automagic moved from Austin to NYC in 1992 and quickly began DJing in the small bars and clubs of the East Village. His career in music has spanned multiple continents, and residencies acting as dj, producer, and record label collaborator. In his early NY career, will held residencies at many downtown New York clubs including The Limelight & Life. Most recently Will and nita aviance dominate as dj duo “the Carry nation”. The Carry Nation have held residencies in New York at Good Room, Basement, Ladyfag’s Battle Hymn and Block 9 at Glastonbury festival as well as numerous appearances at Panorama Bar/Berghain.

Will’s sound is as varied as the influences that reach people’s ears in New York and he considers this range to be an essential part of the NYC sound. At one of his first residencies in the 90’s he made a mix cassette series called “End of the Night All Night” to evoke the emotional power of the very last song throughout a whole night. It is no wonder he is now known as a closing set guy and is honored to be trusted with the emotional journey that lands the plane and ties up the loose ends in those last hours.
